Information & Registration for Liturgical Music workshop

October 8 - 10, 2010 - Pittsburgh, PA

Glory to Jesus Christ!

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop John, we are happy to announce the upcoming Eparchial Liturgical Music Workshop, which will take place from Friday October 8 until Sunday October 9, 2010 at the Gilmary Catholic Retreat Center in Coraopolis, PA.

This Liturgical Music Workshop is a great opportunity to come together, grow in faith and to learn and experience the joy of our Liturgical music. We are blessed to have with us this year Prof. Joseph Roll. He is well known as a member of the faithful who has dedicated much of his life to the Liturgical music of our Ukrainian Catholic Church.

As per Vladyka Johnęs request, please photocopy the enclosed two documents and include them with your parish bulletin. The lack of cantors and leaders in congregational singing is overwhelming in our parishes, therefore please take advantage of this opportunity and aim to send at least one member of the faithful to this workshop.

This workshop will begin on Friday afternoon, October 8, at 3:00 p.m. and concludes on Sunday, October 9, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. All sessions will take place at the Gilmary Center. For those who wish to stay at the Gilmary Center lodging is available. The prices are as followed:

$200.00 Double Occupancy, $250.00 Single Occupancy – these prices include lodgings, meals, music and work books.
$150.00 No Lodgings, but includes classes, workbooks and meals.

The deadline to register for this workshop is Thursday, September 30th, 2010. Registrations can only be made with full payment. Once we have received your registration and full payment you will receive a confirmation letter with the schedule of the Liturgical Music Workshop.

I thank you for your kind cooperation. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Valerian Michlik @ 412-766 8801
