of Faith Program (GOF) conducted at St. Vladimirs Ukrainian
Catholic Church in Hempstead, NY on Sunday, November

World Youth Day Madrid 2011

Greek Catholic Church: the presentation of the new Catechism of the Ukrainian
Greek Catholic Church, "Christ Our Pascha" after ten years of work. However,
along side of the Catechism presentation, work on the development of an outline

Our Pascha" Released
Ukraine on June 24, 2011- Bishop Peter Stasiuk, the head of
the Patriarchal Catechetical Commission, stated "Our Catechism is
called Christ Our Pascha. The central idea is that the source of our
Christian life of
Faith is the Risen Christ. In
the liturgical language of our Church we participate in
the Passover of Christ hence in the new life in Christ.
This new life grows to maturity
in spiritual development and moral effort. Therefore, there
are two fundamental resources for understanding this catechism.
They are the Nicene Creed
and the liturgical anaphora of St Basil the Great." Read
